Class 1

The group implements the “Story Integration Programme” in Class 1, where learners engage with environmental, literacy, and numeracy concepts in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines.

At Grandmother’s Arms School, our Class 1 program builds upon the foundation established in nursery, guiding young learners into a world of discovery, growth, and academic development. In a safe and encouraging environment, we help children transition smoothly from early childhood education to a more structured classroom experience. Our experienced and dedicated teachers nurture a sense of confidence and independence in each student, promoting curiosity, creativity, and an eagerness to learn.

Understanding the importance of this formative stage, we maintain small class sizes to ensure each child receives individualized support and attention. Through interactive activities and hands-on learning, Class 1 students begin to develop essential literacy and numeracy skills while exploring subjects like science, social studies, and the arts. Our approach balances academic rigor with play, enabling children to learn through exploration and imagination.
